B. Riley Acted as Advisor to Craftmade International (OTCQX: CRFT) in its Acquisition by Litex Industries Limited. The company announced a tender offer to acquire all outstanding shares of Craftmade for $4.25 per share in cash. B. Riley acts as a Designated Advisor for Disclosure (DAD) for several OTCQX companies, including Craftmade.
B. Riley Acted as General Advisor and Placement Agent on Foundation Bancorp’s Private Capital Raise. B. Riley provided a fairness opinion and general advisory services on the pricing and structure of the capital raise and also placed a portion of the offering. Foundation Bancorp is focused on the commercial and private client market in the general Seattle region with $300 million in assets.
B. Riley Has Been Retained by Trimedyne Inc. (Nasdaq: TMED) to explore opportunities for Trimedyne’s 90% owned subsidiary Cardiodyne, Inc., which is developing a patented, fully automated Transmyocardial Laser Revascularization System (TMLR) designed to treat heart attack victims.
B. Riley has Initiated Research Coverage of Media & Entertainment Industry. The sector will be followed by Senior Research Analyst, Eric Wold, CFA who just published “Box Office Fundamentals Remain Strong Ahead of Continued Digital Upgrade Benefits…” in which he discusses box office trends, the digital transition and 3D, and expected M&A activity over the next 12-18 months. Patrick Kellachan, Senior Sales Trader has joined B. Riley’s New York office from Merriman Capital, where he was a Managing Director responsible for trading coverage of Tier 1 accounts for the past three years. Prior to Merriman Capital, Patrick was a sales trader at Wall Street Access and Merrill Lynch. He began his career at Morgan Stanley, where he worked for nine years as a principle market maker on the NASDAQ trading desk.
